We at the Rural Schools Association have started planning our annual conference, which will be held at the Otesaga Resort in Cooperstown, July 9-11, 2023. The planning committee has selected “Rebuilding the Rural Reality: From the Middle of Nowhere to the Heart of Everything” as this year’s theme.

We invite applications from school or BOCES districts with unique and successful programs that are currently operational and focus on making our rural schools more effective and efficient. The program may be related to our theme or of a general interest to our conference attendees. For instance, you may have a program on staff recruitment and retention, mental health or career and technical education.

Presentation proposals should be limited to 500 words or less. Please submit electronically by midnight February 23, 2023.
